911 Calls at Access
Abortion facilities often deny that women can be injured during abortions. They also ask ambulances to come to their back doors. Listen to these calls or read the transcripts and educate yourself with what really goes on in that building.

The 911-caller told dispatchers the woman started having seizures, was unresponsive, and had “blue lips” after the abortionist administered local anesthesia in preparation for a surgical abortion.

An Access staff member called 911 when a patient was suffering from excessive bleeding after an abortion.
An Access staff member called 911 as they were preparing to transport a patient from the facility to the hospital. She described the patient as having a lot of abnormal bleeding requiring the used of a foley balloon catheter, sometimes used to stop vaginal bleeding.
A patient left Access and got into a waiting Uber. A few moments later, the woman and the Uber driver asked us to call an ambulance. A link to the audio from the call will be provided as soon as it is available.
An Access staff member called 911. She said she didn't have any information on the patient, but she was told they needed an ambulance. “They just having heavy bleeding after the termination, so doctor just wants to make sure she’s OK,” Then she requested that the ambulance should come through the back,

A patient at Access experiencing hemorrhage, severe pain and lacerations required an ambulance at Access. The abortion had not yet been completed, so the call included a request for palliative care.

A 14-year old girl required an ambulance due to a perforation during a botched abortion. Under Illinois law, her parents were not required to be notified she was there for an abortion.

A patient at Access was in pain and in shock after a surgical abortion at Access. By their own account, she was drifting in and out of consciousness. They told her to go on her own to the Emergency Room! She insisted they call an ambulance.
